Attorney Shimon Y. Belen is a result driven attorney with experience in Social Security Disability law and general litigation. He is committed to giving all of his clients individual attention and guiding them though the sometimes complicated legal system. Shimon enjoys working one on one with his clients and seeking a just and equitable outcome.
Prior to joining the Law Offices of Marc J. Shefman, Shimon ran his own practice that focused on Social Security Disability and Workers Compensation Law. At his firm he developed a longstanding reputation of devoting himself to his clients and looking out for their best interests.
Shimon Y. Belen graduated in 2009 from Wayne State University Law School. While at law school he interned for then Federal District Court Chief Judge Bernard A. Friedman and Judge Avern Cohn. He was also the president of the Federal Bar Association Student Chapter at Wayne.
When not working, Shimon enjoys spending time with his wife and children, golfing, and traveling. He also sits on the board of directors of several local community organizations and charities and is passionate about giving back to the community.
